1. The operator
WARDOGS Browser is an independent community website for finding WARDOGS community servers. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by BULKHEAD or WARDOGS.
The site is operated by Aleksandar Kovačević from Serbia, who is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we handle
When you browse the site
We use a self-hosted installation of Plausible Analytics to measure page visits and selected actions, including server searches, external server-link clicks, contact-form outcomes, account sign-ins, and server-listing submissions. Search terms are shortened and terms that resemble email addresses or web addresses are replaced before they are sent. We do not send contact-form contents, email addresses, Discord identities, or listing descriptions to Plausible.
Plausible does not use cookies or store persistent identifiers in your browser. Like most websites, the infrastructure supporting the site may receive technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Cloudflare may process this information to deliver, protect, monitor, and operate the site.
When you dismiss a site announcement, we set a functional cookie that stores only the ID of that announcement so it is not shown to you again. It expires after 180 days and is not used for analytics or tracking.
Community server listings
The directory displays information submitted to describe a community server. This includes the server code, name, region, access type, player capacity, player-level and cash requirements, modifier, maps, and any optional banner image, description, Discord link, or website link. Listings are associated internally with the account that created them so the account holder can edit or delete them. Please do not include personal information in a server listing.

Community listings can include a name, summary, description, regions, languages, tags, logo, banner, and links to Discord, a website, Steam, Telegram, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, or X. Listings are associated with the account that created them. Please do not include personal information that you do not want displayed publicly.
Accounts
You can create an account and sign in through Discord. We receive your Discord user ID, display name, avatar, and email address when Discord makes one available. If a Discord account has no email address, we create a non-deliverable internal placeholder based on its Discord user ID. We also store account, session, and security information needed to keep you signed in and protect the service.
We store the latest Terms of Service version accepted by your account and the time of acceptance. This lets us determine whether you need to review updated terms.
When you vote for a community server, we use your Discord user ID to confirm that the Discord account is at least 90 days old and use Discord's email-verification status to check voting eligibility. We temporarily associate your account with the server and a cooldown expiry time to enforce one vote per server every 24 hours. The public server listing displays only the accumulated vote total, not the identities of voters.
Discord handles your credentials during sign-in. WARDOGS Browser does not receive or store your Discord password.
Boost purchases
If you buy a boost, we store which server it is for, the length, the price, the times it was held, paid, started and ended, whether it was refunded, and the ID Paddle gives the payment. We use this to run the boost, show your purchases, and handle refunds and disputes.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which sells boosts to you as the merchant of record. You enter your email address, billing details and payment details in Paddle's checkout, and WARDOGS Browser does not receive your card or payment account details. Paddle's checkout script loads only on the pages where you pay and may use its own cookies or similar technologies, as described in Paddle's privacy notice.
3. Contact form
If you contact us, we handle the name, email address, and message you submit so that we can read and answer your request. We may also handle your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting. The rate-limit record uses a keyed hash rather than storing the raw IP address.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical and device information, including your IP address, under Cloudflare's own privacy terms.
Contact messages are delivered through Resend. Your name, email address, and message are shared with Resend for that delivery. We do not use contact details to send marketing messages.
4. Service providers
We currently rely on these providers to run the site, the contact form and boost payments:
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, security, Turnstile, logging, and observability.
- Discord: account authentication and basic profile information when you choose to sign in.
- Resend: delivery of messages submitted through the contact form.
- Paddle: checkout, payment processing, receipts and refunds for boosts, as merchant of record.
These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Their processing is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Retention and security
We keep contact messages for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain a record of correspondence, and handle legal or security matters. Temporary rate-limit records are removed after their three-hour rate-limit window.
Server-vote cooldown records expire after 24 hours and are removed by hourly scheduled cleanup. Lifetime vote totals remain attached to a server listing until that listing is deleted.
Deleted community listings remain in the account's Trash for 30 days. During that period, the listing is hidden publicly, but its name, URL, images, and server links are retained so it can be restored. After 30 days, the listing and stored images are permanently deleted, and linked servers are disconnected from it.
Account information is kept while your account remains active. Session and authentication records expire or are removed when they are no longer required. You can permanently delete your account from your profile. This removes your account information, sign-in sessions, linked Discord sign-in, vote cooldowns, and moderation notices. You can choose to delete your server and community listings at the same time. Listings you do not delete stay published and are no longer connected to your account.
We may retain limited records of moderation, ownership, correction, or removal requests when reasonably needed to resolve disputes and prevent abuse. This can include keeping a private record of a removed Server ID so that it is not repeatedly listed against an operator's wishes.
Boost and purchase records are kept for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, refunds and disputes. If you delete a server or your account, its boost records are kept without the link to that server or account.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of your personal information. You may also have a right to data portability or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a privacy request, email hello@wardogs-browser.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Policy changes
We may update this policy when the site or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be made available on this page before they apply where required by law.
