Here's who's behind WARDOGS Browser, why it exists and how things work around here. There are two of us: one builds the site, the other mostly naps.

So, what is WARDOGS Browser?

It's a free website for finding WARDOGS community servers and the communities that run them. Owners put up their listings, players look around before they jump in.

  • Servers

    Search community servers and filter by region, access type and modifier. Each one has its own page with the Server ID, settings and links, and players can vote for the ones they like.

  • Communities

    See the groups behind the servers, filtered by region, language and tags, with all of their servers in one place.

  • Your own listing

    Sign in with Discord to add your server or community for free, and edit it whenever something changes.

Why I built this.

Every community server in WARDOGS gets a code and a row in the in-game browser. That row gives you a name, a player count and a ping, but not much else.

So I made one place where owners can put all of that extra info in a single listing, and players can check it before they join.

Hi, I'm Alex.

I've been gaming my whole life, and finding a great community has always mattered more to me than finding a good server. This site is my attempt to make that easier in WARDOGS.

Since my early days on this planet I've been heavily interested in computers. My first exposure to code was the good ol' inspect element, where I changed some of the messages my friends would send me on Facebook to silly stuff. Yeah, it didn't take long to realize it was only on my side.

Later on I would get into Python, web development with (mostly) SvelteKit and Astro, making games on Roblox, and now powercharging my capabilities with AI workflows.

I care a lot about user experience and giving back control to consumers, hence why I built this website to serve only one purpose and make it totally free, forever.

House rules.

  1. Free. Always.

    Listing a server or a community costs nothing. If anyone asks you to pay to get on here, they have nothing to do with me.

  2. No made-up numbers.

    WARDOGS has no public way to check if a server is online, so I don't show live player counts. What you see is what the owner entered.

  3. Owners get the final say.

    Someone listed your server without asking? Send me a message and I'll hand the listing over or take it down.

  4. One vote a day.

    Sign in with Discord and vote for each server once every 24 hours. Accounts need to be at least 90 days old, which keeps throwaways out.
